Off-Grid Solar Power Meets Modern Outdoor Sauna Design

Bring traditional sauna bathing to virtually any outdoor setting with the ThermaSol Solaris Outdoor Sauna Cabin, a fully assembled sauna designed to operate without a conventional power connection. Solaris combines an integrated solar-and-battery system with a compact 3kW Harvia KIP Wi-Fi heater, creating a self-contained outdoor wellness retreat with modern European styling.

The Solaris features Tile Oak cladding, solar-tinted panoramic glass, brushed alder benches, integrated RGB LED lighting, and tiled interior and exterior surfaces. Its solar-powered design is intended to provide greater placement flexibility while reducing dependence on traditional electrical infrastructure.

Solaris is available in two sizes: Small for 2–3 people and Medium for 4–5 people. The Medium configuration measures 86" L × 86" W × 97" H, while the Small measures 86" L × 60" W × 97" H.

Designed for Flexible Outdoor Wellness

Solaris was created around a simple idea: a premium sauna that isn't tied to a traditional electrical connection. Its solar panels and battery pack provide the power source, allowing the cabin to be positioned in a wider range of outdoor environments.

The design is particularly suited to private gardens, patios, rooftops, and backyard wellness spaces, with the solar-tinted glass providing natural light while maintaining a more secluded interior atmosphere.

Solar-Powered, Off-Grid Operation

Solaris is described by ThermaSol as its first fully off-grid, solar-powered sauna in the U.S. The system combines solar panels with integrated battery storage so the sauna can operate without a conventional external power connection.

ThermaSol's product information also states that Solaris can provide approximately 2–3 hours of use, with up to 5 hours on sunny days, and can reach approximately 170°F within 40 minutes under stated conditions. Actual performance will vary with sunlight, battery charge, ambient conditions, and usage.

Tile Oak Exterior & Interior

Solaris uses Tile Oak for both its interior and exterior lumber specification. The surfaces are described as tile-clad, modern, durable, and UV-resistant, creating a distinctive architectural appearance compared with conventional wood-only sauna cabins.

Solar-Tinted Panoramic Glass

The panoramic glass wall combines natural light with privacy. The solar-tinted glazing is designed to provide an open view while helping create a more secluded sauna environment.

3kW Harvia KIP Wi-Fi Heater

Both Solaris sizes include a 3kW Harvia KIP heater with Wi-Fi. This provides the traditional heated-sauna environment while allowing connected control functionality.

The current source describes the heater as delivering sauna heat and steam, consistent with traditional sauna use where water may be added to heated stones according to the heater manufacturer's instructions.

RGB LED Lighting

Integrated RGB LED color lighting adds an adjustable visual element to the cabin. The system is designed to complement the modern interior and provide customizable ambiance during sauna sessions.

Product Specifications

Specifications are based primarily on ThermaSol's current product page and supporting product documentation.

What's Included

The current Solaris product documentation identifies:

• Fully assembled Solaris sauna cabin
• Integrated solar panels
• Battery storage system
• Harvia KIP 3kW Wi-Fi sauna heater
• Brushed alder benches
• Tile Oak cladding
• Tinted panoramic glass
• Integrated RGB LED lighting
• Turnkey electrical pre-wiring
• Installation instructions

A current retailer specification also lists a Harvia Xenio CX45 digital Wi-Fi control and one box of Harvia AC3000 sauna stones as included components. Because ThermaSol's current official page does not display that same package inventory in its main specifications, those two items should be confirmed against the exact SAKSBY configuration before being treated as guaranteed inclusions.

Available Sizes

Small — 2–3 People

• 86" L × 60" W × 97" H
• 3kW Harvia KIP Wi-Fi heater

Medium — 4–5 People

• 86" L × 86" W × 97" H
• 3kW Harvia KIP Wi-Fi heater

This is important for the Shopify listing because the draft calls the product simply an outdoor sauna cabin, while the actual product is offered in two distinct capacity/size configurations.

Shipping & Delivery

Solaris is delivered fully assembled by flatbed trailer. ThermaSol states that customers are notified approximately two weeks before scheduled delivery to allow site preparation. A forklift or crane is required for unloading, and manual unloading is not recommended.

Shipping costs are determined by location according to ThermaSol's current product page.

Installation & Site Preparation

Solaris arrives assembled and turnkey-ready, but the installation site still needs to be properly prepared.

ThermaSol recommends a firm, level surface with slight runoff for drainage, such as concrete, decking, pavers, or compacted gravel. The route from the delivery point to the final location must also be accessible to the forklift or crane required for placement.

ThermaSol's current installation guidance also states that a licensed electrician must install the heater.

Outdoor Installation Considerations

Solaris is specifically designed as an outdoor sauna. Before ordering, confirm that the installation location can accommodate the selected size and that delivery equipment can safely access the placement area.

The Medium configuration occupies a substantially larger footprint than the Small version, so the final Shopify variant should clearly display the corresponding dimensions and capacity.

Care & Maintenance

Keep the interior clean and allow adequate ventilation and drying following use. Follow ThermaSol and Harvia instructions for maintaining the wood surfaces, benches, glass, heater, stones, lighting, and solar/battery system.

Because Solaris incorporates solar panels and battery storage, those components should also be inspected and maintained according to the manufacturer's documentation.

Warranty

Current retailer documentation for Solaris lists a 1-year warranty.

Because warranty coverage can vary by component and sales channel, the final Shopify listing should reference the applicable ThermaSol warranty documentation for the purchased configuration.

Safety & Usage Information

Use Solaris according to the supplied ThermaSol and Harvia instructions.

The heater should be installed by a qualified/licensed electrician as required by ThermaSol's installation guidance.

Traditional sauna use involves high temperatures. Use the heater and sauna stones only as instructed, and do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended operating conditions.

The original draft's claims about detoxification, improved circulation, immune benefits, and therapeutic effects have been removed. Solaris should be presented as a premium sauna and wellness product, not as a guaranteed medical treatment.

The ThermaSol Solaris is well suited to:

• Off-grid backyard wellness
• Private garden retreats

• Patio installations
• Traditional sauna bathing

• Shared family sauna sessions
