Easy-Access Luxury with Steam, Hydrotherapy & Smart Comfort

Transform your bathroom into a private spa with the Maya Bath Platinum Comfort Walk-In Steam Shower. This freestanding corner unit combines a walk-in bathtub, steam shower, hydrotherapy massage, heated bathing, and integrated entertainment features in one sophisticated enclosure. The current Maya Bath listing specifies a 2-person capacity, 55" × 55" × 88" dimensions, acrylic construction with stainless steel fixtures and framing, and tempered glass.

Designed around accessible entry and everyday convenience, the Comfort features a walk-in door, touchscreen controls, Bluetooth connectivity, LED lighting, a rainfall ceiling shower, handheld shower heads, waterfall inlet, ventilation fan, and storage shelving.

A built-in 5,000W steam generator, inline bathtub heater, and 38-jet system add multiple ways to customize the experience. The current manufacturer's page lists 38 total jets, while its feature copy separately references 27 whirlpool jets and 22 acupuncture jets; because those numbers do not reconcile mathematically, the listing uses the verified total of 38 rather than presenting an unsupported breakdown.

Why You'll Love It

• Walk-In Bathtub Design — Enjoy easier entry into the bathing area without stepping over a conventional tub wall.
• 5,000W Steam Generator — Built-in steam generation creates a dedicated steam-shower experience, and the manufacturer's current page specifies a self-cleaning steam generator.
• 38-Jet Hydrotherapy System — The unit includes a 38-jet massage system integrated into the bathing enclosure.
• Heated Bathtub — An inline bathtub heater is included to help maintain bath-water temperature.
• Touchscreen & Bluetooth — Control key functions through the touchscreen LCD and connect compatible devices through Bluetooth.
• Rainfall & Handheld Showering — Switch between overhead rainfall and handheld showering for a more flexible bathing setup.
• Chromotherapy & Underwater Lighting — Integrated LED lighting creates adjustable ambient illumination for the shower and tub environment.
• Aromatherapy & Ozone System — The current feature list includes aromatherapy and an ozone sterilization system.

A Complete Home Spa Experience

The Platinum Comfort brings steam, bathing, showering, massage, lighting, and entertainment together in one freestanding enclosure. Its corner configuration and 55" × 55" footprint make it a substantial but integrated addition to a residential bathroom.

The walk-in configuration is particularly distinctive, giving the unit an easier-access bathing design while retaining the enclosed feel of a dedicated steam shower.

Walk-In Comfort & Heated Bathing

The Comfort's walk-in bathtub is designed to make entering and exiting the bathing area easier than a conventional tub configuration. The unit also includes an inline bathtub heater, allowing the bath system to maintain warm water during use.

Steam Shower with 5kW Generator

A 5,000W steam generator is built into the system and is listed as a standard component. The current manufacturer's page also identifies a self-cleaning function for the steam generator.

The installation manual specifies a dedicated electrical connection for the steam generator and emphasizes professional electrical installation and grounding.

38-Jet Hydrotherapy

The Platinum Comfort is specified with 38 jets for its hydrotherapy system. The manufacturer's current specification sheet confirms the 38-jet total, while the feature section describes whirlpool and acupuncture-style massage functions.

Because the current source contains inconsistent sub-counts for the individual jet types, the verified 38-jet total is the appropriate specification for the Shopify listing.

Smart Controls & Entertainment

The touchscreen LCD control system provides access to core functions, while Bluetooth connectivity allows compatible phones or other devices to connect for audio and entertainment. The system also includes a remote control.

Rainfall, Waterfall & Handheld Showering

The enclosure includes an overhead rainfall ceiling shower, waterfall inlet, and handheld shower heads. These multiple water-delivery options allow the Platinum Comfort to function as a complete shower environment in addition to its steam and bathing features.

Lighting, Aromatherapy & Ventilation

Ambient and underwater LED lighting are included, with the product feature list also identifying aromatherapy and a ventilation fan. Storage shelving provides a dedicated place for bathing essentials.

The source refers to chromotherapy lighting, but this listing presents it as an ambient lighting feature rather than making medical or therapeutic claims.

Shipping & Delivery

Maya Bath currently lists free delivery for the Comfort Steam Shower, with its current product page showing the product at $8,499. Installation

This is a substantial plumbing and electrical installation rather than a simple plug-in appliance. The manufacturer's documentation calls for professional electrical installation, proper grounding, appropriate GFCI protection, and correctly sized wiring.

The manufacturer also describes the unit as freestanding and notes that the system can be serviced by moving the assembly away from the wall after the final connections are made.

Important Installation & Safety Note

The installation manual explicitly states outdoor use is not allowed. This is important because some promotional descriptions of the product can make it sound more universally installable. For Shopify, the product should be presented as an indoor residential bathroom installation.

The manual also warns that electrical installation should be performed by a qualified technician or professional and that the unit must be properly grounded. It specifies dedicated electrical circuits for the steam generator and bathtub.

Care & Maintenance

The acrylic surfaces and plated components should be cleaned according to the manufacturer's care instructions. The manual specifically warns against chemicals such as acetone, ammonia, gasoline, and sulfuric-acid-type chemicals, which can damage acrylic and plated surfaces.

The flexible drain design can simplify servicing, and the manufacturer notes that the unit can be assembled away from its final position before being moved into place and connected.

Warranty

The current Maya Bath product page lists a 10-Year Warranty as the included option. Maya Bath's current site also states that its steam showers include warranty support after purchase.

Safety & Usage Information

This product should be used according to the supplied installation and operating instructions.

The manual advises caution around high temperatures, requires proper grounding and electrical protection, and states that children should be supervised. It also instructs users not to enter the unit while sterilization is operating and not to fill the massage tub while the steam shower is in use.

The manual further advises that people who are intoxicated or who have certain health conditions should avoid prolonged steam-shower use. Customers with health concerns should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using high-heat or steam features.
