Compact Multi-Level Comfort with Customizable Hydrotherapy

Turn your backyard into a comfortable retreat with the Liberty Spas LYS4500 5-Person Plug & Play Spa. Designed with deep corner seating and elevated middle positions, this compact spa creates a multi-level layout that accommodates different heights while giving each person access to the 18 adjustable hydrotherapy jets.

The LYS4500 combines a 2-speed 1.5 HP Balboa pump, adjustable massage and directional jets, interior and exterior LED lighting, and air-control valves for a personalized soaking experience. Its 120V/15A Plug & Play design allows the spa to connect to a standard household outlet.

Water care is supported by Glacier filtration with a 50 sq. ft. antimicrobial filter and built-in ozone generation, while the compact 78" × 78" footprint makes the LYS4500 a practical option for patios, decks, and other suitable outdoor spaces.

Why You'll Love It

• 5-Person Seating — Deep corner seating and elevated middle positions create a comfortable multi-level arrangement for shared use.

• 1.5 HP Two-Speed Pump — The Balboa pump provides two-speed operation for flexible water circulation and massage intensity.
• Plug & Play Convenience — The 120V/15A configuration connects to a standard household outlet, simplifying installation compared with higher-voltage spa systems.
• Glacier Filtration + Ozone — A 50 sq. ft. antimicrobial Glacier filter works with the built-in ozone generator to support water maintenance.

• Compact Footprint — At 78" × 78", the square design provides five-person seating without the footprint of a larger spa.

Designed for Shared Backyard Relaxation

The LYS4500 is built around a compact square footprint and multi-level seating arrangement. Deep corner seats provide lower seating positions, while elevated middle seats create additional height options for different users.

This layout makes the spa suitable for shared evenings, casual gatherings, or quieter individual soaking sessions when you want to make the most of your outdoor space.

Multi-Level Seating

The spa's seating configuration combines deep corner seats with higher middle positions, creating different seating heights within the same compact enclosure. Current specifications identify the LYS4500 as a five-person spa, although some retailer pages describe the layout as accommodating five to six users. For this listing, the manufacturer's/product-model positioning of five-person capacity is used.

18 Adjustable Hydrotherapy Jets

The LYS4500 features 18 adjustable and interchangeable hydrotherapy jets in two sizes. Users can adjust the jet faces and interchange jet positions to personalize the massage experience at different seats. Air-control valves provide additional control over jet pressure.

Glacier Filtration & Ozone

The integrated Glacier filtration system includes a 50 sq. ft. antimicrobial filter and built-in ozone generator. The system is designed to help maintain clean, clear spa water while reducing routine water-care demands.

The spa is also compatible with the optional Glacier AO₃P System, according to current product listings.

LED Lighting

The LYS4500 includes interior and exterior LED lighting with more than 12 available settings, allowing you to adjust the atmosphere for different occasions.

Plug & Play 120V Operation

One of the LYS4500's defining features is its 120V/15A electrical configuration. The spa is designed to connect directly to a standard 15A household outlet, avoiding the electrical upgrade typically associated with larger 240V spas.

Product Specifications

These specifications are supported by current LYS4500 dealer listings.

What's Included

Current product listings identify the following as included:

• LYS4500 spa
• 3" / 2" hardtop cover
• Antimicrobial Glacier filters
• Built-in ozone generator
• Interior and exterior LED lighting
• Curbside delivery
• User documentation/manual

Optional Water-Care Upgrade

The LYS4500 is compatible with the Glacier AO₃P System, which is offered as an optional enhanced water-treatment configuration. It should be treated as an upgrade rather than a standard included feature.

Shipping & Delivery

Current listings describe curbside delivery. One authorized-dealer listing notes that the carrier delivers to the front of the property and that the customer is responsible for moving the spa from the delivery point to its final installation location.

Because the filled spa weighs approximately 2,850 pounds, customers should plan the delivery route and final placement area before shipment.

Installation

The LYS4500 is designed for 120V/15A Plug & Play operation, allowing it to connect to a standard household outlet.

However, the current CSC warranty documentation states that spa installation must be completed by a licensed and certified electrician for warranty validity and that proper permits/certifications may be required. This creates an important distinction from retailer marketing that describes the spa as requiring no electrician.

For the Shopify listing, the safest position is that the spa uses a Plug & Play 120V/15A connection, while customers should follow the manufacturer's current installation and warranty requirements.

Outdoor Installation Considerations

Prepare a stable, level installation surface capable of supporting the spa's substantial filled weight. Provide sufficient clearance for the cover, controls, service access, and safe entry and exit.

Before delivery, verify that the spa can be moved from the curbside drop-off location to the final installation area.

Care & Maintenance

Maintain appropriate water chemistry and follow the manufacturer's filtration and water-care instructions. Inspect and clean the Glacier filter according to the recommended schedule and replace cartridges when required.

The built-in ozone system and antimicrobial filtration support water maintenance but do not eliminate the need for proper spa water care.

Warranty

Current authorized-dealer documentation lists the CSC/Liberty Spas warranty for acrylic portable spas as:

• 5 years — Structure
• 1 year — Acrylic surface
• 1 year — Equipment/plumbing

The current warranty documentation also states that the warranty applies to qualifying residential installations purchased through authorized CSC dealers and that improper installation, water chemistry, maintenance, misuse, or unauthorized repairs can affect coverage.

Safety & Usage Information

Use the spa according to the manufacturer's operating and water-care instructions.

The spa contains heated water, moving water components, electrical equipment, and hydrotherapy jets. Maintain appropriate water chemistry and supervise children around the spa.

The original draft's statements about treating muscle conditions, improving circulation, or providing medical benefits have been moderated. The product should be positioned as a hydrotherapy and relaxation spa, not as a medical treatment.

The Liberty Spas LYS4500 is well suited to:

• Backyard relaxation
• Shared family soaking
• Hydrotherapy-style massage
• Post-workout relaxation
• Outdoor entertaining
• Quiet evening soaks
• Compact patio and deck installations
